Junior Geeks Science and Tech Camp 2019
Junior Geeks Science and Tech Camp wrapped up three days of events for youth from #Prishtina, #Peja and #Mitrovica. They turned their ideas into board games, robots, AI and other digital solutions to solve societal problems—and left inspired to become future, fearless leaders and active innovators. Prior to the camp they participated in four months of intensive lectures and workshops on a variety #STEM subjects. “Being part of this experience has completely changed the way I think about my future, in fact, I am now feeling confident that I can create my own inventions and opportunities,” said Vlera, a passionate Junior Geek activist.
Junior Geeks program, implemented by Innovation Centre Kosovo , is funded by the U.S. Department of State through an Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund 2018 awarded to three alumni of US programs: Eldita Tarani, a Fulbright alum; and Shpend Lila and Zana Tabaku, both alums of the International Visitor Leadership Program.
